My Oregon Adventure -- Cool Airport Shots and Mount Hood

chick fil-a cow

This Chick-fil-A cow was a very unexpected discovery in Terminal A near the Frontier Airline ticket counter at the Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH), also known as Bush Intercontinental Airport.  Very clever!!

This railroad track is at the Denver airport near the food court for departing planes.

Across from the railroad tracks is this strange sculpture (can I call it that??) with a flat globe and four blue air pieces behind it -- they almost look like sleds with runners.

Here is another picture of the flat globe.

cute plane tail

Here is a cute Frontier plane tail.  It may be an bobcat.  It sure is lovable looking.

mt hood

This is a picture of Mount Hood that I got from my window seat.  It was actually a rare sight to see the mountain without a lot of clouds near the top.

Hi Liz,

Fun pictures.

My favorite is the rail line doing impossible things.

You must have travelled to the PNW. Congrats. Get out of the heat for a while

I had to look several times to realize that was cow!  I love flying over mountains and seeing them from above like that.  I think they're even more impressive this way!
